The agenda for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on May 11 includes presenting the government's annual policies and programs for FY 2025/26 for decision.
NC nominates Chief Whip and Whip
For this, the UML has issued a whip to its lawmakers, urging them to attend the meeting on that day. The party's chief whip, Mahesh Kumar Bartaula, announced the issuance of the whip in a press release on Friday.
Through the address delivered by the President on May 2, the government's annual policy and programme for the upcoming FY 2025/26 was presented to the joint session of both houses of the federal parliament. “Since this will be presented for decision in the House of Representatives meeting on May 11, a whip has been issued to all members of the CPN-UML parliamentary party, instructing them to attend the meeting and vote in favor of the policy and program,” states the press release.
