KATHMANDU, April 8: The government has decided to retract the bill designed to amend the Financial Procedure and Fiscal Accountability Act, 2076 which was registered at federal parliament secretariat.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, informed media persons on Sunday while sharing the Cabinet decision made to this regard on April 4.
Similarly, the government decided to form a dialogue team under the leadership of the Joint Secretary at the Finance Ministry to finalize an agreement draft on receiving grants worth Rs 9.45 billion from the International Agriculture Development Fund.
Similarly, the government is creating two special posts for DIG of Nepal Police under technical category.
Bills relating to Appropriation Bill passed
The Cabinet took the decision to extend the term of honorary Nepali Consul General at California, USA, Rishi Punakhar Dhakal; and honorary Consul General to North Rhine, Westphalia and Lower Saxony, Ram Pratap Thapa.
Minister Sharma shared that the meeting decided to grant permission to use three hectares of national forest to build a garbage collection, management and processing center for Narayan Municipality of Dailekh.
Permit would be given to use 0.2 hectare of national forest to build the administrative building of Manhari Rural Municipality in Makawanpur district.
As per the cabinet decision, Prof Dr Pashupati Chaudhary would be appointed as Chairperson of the Ram Raja Prasad Singh Institute of Health Sciences Infrastructures Preparation Development Committee and Dr Birendra Prasad Yadav as its member.
The meeting also decided to appoint Dr Gyanendraman Singh Karki as the member of the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
Likewise, the meeting decided to retract Nepal Drinking Water Corporations Regulations-2080 to the concerned ministry and to approve Mega Project Implementation Monitoring and Facilitation Directive, 2080.
As per decision, the government will approve the model format of the bilateral investment agreement between the government of Nepal and other countries.
Minister Sharma further shared that the Cabinet meeting approved the resignation tendered by Central Statistical Office's Secretary Toyam Raya, Nepal Forest Service, Forest Research Group's Joint-Secretary Sabitri Aryal.
