The government talks team agreed to fulfill the demands tabled by the Morcha in the talks held on Thursday.[break]
After the talks, government spokesperson Madhav Prasad Poudel said the government would conclude all the issues relating to the CA polls as raised by the Morcha.
Saying that discussions were held in a very positive note, Poudel added political issues would be resolved by calling a meeting of the High-Level Political Committee next week.
"The government cannot address the issues beyond its capacity. Talks and dialogue with political parties are necessary for this. The government will make maximum efforts to do its best from its side," he told reporters.
He also said that the voters´ name list update and distribution of citizenship would be expedited for the election purpose.
Likewise, Chairman of Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi Party Sarat Singh Bhandari said the talks were positive as the government talks team was ready to address the issues raised by them.
The Morcha had floated a number of issues including delineating electoral constituencies, scraping of the four-party syndicate and scraping of the 25-point order promulgated by the President to remove constitutional difficulties, among others.
Both the talks teams have agreed to sit for another round of talks based on agreement of both sides.
