KATHMANDU, June 11: The government has decided to open its offices in two shifts effective from June 15.
A Cabinet meeting held Wednesday evening decided to open government offices in two shifts – morning and afternoon, according to Yuba Raj Khatiwada, spokesperson for the government.
Making the Cabinet decisions public on Thursday, Spokesperson Khatiwada said that the morning shift will run from 8AM to 1PM, while the day shift will run from 1PM to 6PM.
After a nationwide lockdown was enforced on March 24 to prevent the spread of COVID-19, all government offices except those providing essential services were shut.
