Govt forms two-member committee to hold talks with Dr KC

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: The government on Saturday formed a two-member committee to hold talks regarding the demands of senior orthopedic surgeon at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) Dr Govinda KC.

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: The government on Saturday formed a two-member committee to hold talks regarding the demands of senior orthopedic surgeon at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) Dr Govinda KC.

Health Secretary Senendra Raj Upreti and Education Secretary Shanta Bahadur Shrestha are the members of the committee.



Dr KC, a senior professor at the IoM, is on a prolonged hunger strike since last 14 days putting forth six-point demands including appointment of dean at IoM on the basis of seniority.
