Govt forms three-member think tank

KATHMANDU, Feb 11: The government formed a three member Policy Research Academy with Shri Ram Poudel as its coordinator.



Former AIG Purush Dhakal and Prof Dr Mahendra Singh have been appointed as the academy’s members, the cabinet meeting decided on Monday evening. [break]



Earlier, the cabinet meeting had decided to form an academy to act as a think tank.



Similarly, Narayanghat Mungling road section has been named as Ram Raja Singh Lok Marg.



In yet another decision, the government has decided to provide Rs 3 million to inter-women network.



The cabinet meeting also approved official visit of Indian Chief Secretary. The Indian chief secretary is visiting Nepal on an invitation of Nepal’s chief secretary Lilamani Poudyal.
