Minister Basnet said the government has taken firing by SSB in Nepali soil and entry of armed SSB personnel in Jhapa seriously.
“The government is serious on these recent incidents,” he said during his arrival here for a security meeting.
Four Nepalis were injured when SSB opened fire at Haripur, Sunsari on Wednesday.
On Sunday, 13 SSB personnel were released after detention in seven hours for entering Nepal illegally with arms in Jhapa.
