Govt approves IT Policy

KATHMANDU, March 10: The government on Wednesday decided to establish a fund for the felicitation of senior journalists and approved the Information Technology Policy 2066.



In a cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar, the government also approved the directives of the welfare fund for the conflict-hit journalists, according to Sharad Singh Bhandari, the minister for tourism and civil aviation.[break]



The meeting also agreed for the adjustment of class for the class-less government employees by increasing the allowances and other facilities.



The government also gave a go-ahead for the proposal of signing of an agreement with Israel for the agricultural co-operation, Bhandari added.
