KATHMANDU, July 28: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali, who is on a visit to three European countries, said the government has focused its efforts to translate the aspiration of Nepali people for socio-economic development.
The Minister made the remarks at a talk programme, 'Nepal's main national agenda: sustaining political achievements through socio-economic transformation', jointly organized by Nepali Embassy in Brussels and European Institute for Asian Studies.
The incumbent government's priorities and policy are centralized on propelling socio-economic transformation of the country, Gyawali added.

Apprising the participants of Nepal's recent political development, the Minister reiterated that the government was hell bent on the campaign of 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali' by creating employment opportunities and reducing poverty level.
Expanding economic base of the country is the goal of the government, he asserted at the programme attended by the Brussels-based ambassadors of Asian and European countries, academia, media professionals and Nepali nationals residing in Belgium.
He called for the friends and development partners of Nepal to embrace the positive developments taking place towards realizing national progress and prosperity in Nepal.
"An environment has been created for investment. We will devise our further actions to further enable it", he further shared.
Minister Gyawali had embarked on his visit to Portugal, Luxemburg and Belgium on July 24. RSS
