KATHMANDU, March 25: The price of gold increased by Rs 600 per tola on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold went up by Rs 600 to Rs 100,900 per tola in the domestic market. The yellow metal was traded for Rs 100,300 per tola on Thursday.

The price of standard gold is Rs 100,400 per tola on Friday. Similarly, the price of silver rose by Rs 25 to Rs 1,400 per tola today.
Gold is being traded at approximately USD 1,957 per ounce in the international market today.
The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
