KATHMANDU, July 16: Gold prices have reached an all-time high, rising by Rs 900 per tola. On Tuesday, the price of fine gold reached a record Rs 147,800 per tola, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations.
On Monday, the price of fine gold increased by Rs 200 per tola, reaching Rs 146,900 per tola.
Gold price decreases by Rs 800 per tola
Similarly, the price of standard gold stands at Rs 147,100 per tola on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, silver prices saw a slight decrease of Rs 10 per tola, settling at Rs 1,875 on Tuesday. The previous day, silver was traded at Rs 1,885 per tola, having increased by Rs 10 per tola.
In the international market, the price of gold surged to $2428.94 per ounce, up from $2426.94 on Monday.
Similarly, silver price today stands at $30.79 per ounce, compared to $30.95 per ounce the previous day.
