KATHMANDU, June 16: The price of gold has risen by Rs 1,600 per tola on the first day of the week.
The price of fine gold is set at Rs 142,800 per tola for Sunday, up from Rs 141,200 per tola on Friday.

Similarly, standard gold is being traded at Rs 142,100 per tola today.
Additionally, the price of silver has increased by Rs 20 per tola. The new price of silver is Rs 1,820 per tola, compared to Rs 1,800 per tola on Friday.
In the international market, gold is being traded at $2,333.01 per ounce on Sunday, while silver is priced at $29.85 per ounce.
