Gold price declines by Rs 1200

KATHMANDU, March 16: Gold price decreased by Rs 1200 per tola in the Nepali market on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, March 16: Gold price decreased by Rs 1200 per tola in the Nepali market on Wednesday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has been quoted as Rs 99, 300 per tola. The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 100,500 on Tuesday.

Similarly, the price of standard gold has been fixed at Rs 98,800 per tola. It was traded at Rs 100,000 on Tuesday.


Today, the price of silver also decreased by Rs 10 per tola and stands at Rs 1,370 on Wednesday.


Gold is being traded at approximately USD 1,916 per ounce in the international market today.
