KATHMANDU, June 26: Gold and silver traders have staged demonstrations today against Shree Riddhi Siddhi Jewellers. The gold and silver traders and a committee of goldsmiths demonstrated on Wednesday stating that the Jewellers advertised for cheap popularity.
They said that the recent offer brought by Jewellers has raised suspicions in the goldsmith community.

Recently, the shops no 1 and 10 at Bishal Bazar, Newroad, operated by Shree Riddhi Siddhi Jewellers had issued advertisements claiming to provide significant discounts on wages and gold solder to the customers. The protesters alleged that this would create a crisis in the entire gold business and that the company is trying to clear its stock of illegally-imported gold.
