Glocal After School to enhance skill for employment

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Glocal After School, an entity of Glocal Pvt Ltd, is organizing a week long program dedicated to workshops related to different skills, skill shows and exhibitions, learning hub and sessions along with entertainment components making this as an infotainment week honoring skill.

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Glocal After School, an entity of Glocal Pvt Ltd, is organizing a week long program dedicated to workshops related to different skills, skill shows and exhibitions, learning hub and sessions along with entertainment components making this as an infotainment week honoring skill.


Glocal Pvt Ltd researched on 'Skills for Future Jobs in Nepal' for Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security's Training Department and wants to promote its outcome of skill as a whole.

The event is going to be held from January 20 to 26. Glocal has collaborated with industries, educators and the government to engage and promote the extensive skill opportunities and showcasing emerging skills; ranging from businesses, services, technology to art and culture.


According to Kajol Thakur, Associate Director of Glocal Pvt Ltd, this event would be the platform for youths to boost their insights, creativity and learn through a reality check.


The event showcases four distinct skill areas as brought to attention by the research mentioned earlier i.e. art and culture, entrepreneurship, tourism and hospitality, and science and technology. 


Main highlights of the event are talks, presentations, exhibitions, displays, competitions, workshops, training, entertainment and food.
