Glimpse of Buddha's remains to public

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Ashti Dhatu, the remains of the Gautam Buddha, has been put on a display for public view at the Pulchowk-based Aksheshwor Mahabihar ( Buddhist temple).

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Ashti Dhatu, the remains of the Gautam Buddha, has been put on a display for public view at the Pulchowk-based Aksheshwor Mahabihar ( Buddhist temple). 



It is the customary that the Ashti Dhatu is put on display for the people's view on the day of Ashwin Shukla Poornima every year.

The remains were brought here from Sri Lanka in 1966. The visitors can catch the glimpse of the Asti Dhatu until 16:00 pm today. 


The Myanmar's Ambassador to Nepal visited the Mahabihar, to observe the Asti Dhatu . RSS
