Germany condemns Kabul terror attack

KATHMANDU, June 23: Germany has condemned the terror attack in Afghanistan that claimed the lives of 13 Nepalis.

KATHMANDU, June 23: Germany has condemned the terror attack in Afghanistan that claimed the lives of 13 Nepalis.



German Ambassador to Nepal, Matthias Meyer sent a written message to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kamal Thapa and convened heartfelt sympathies to DPM Thapa and expressed condolences to the government and Nepali people on behalf of himself and German government.



“Germany takes this opportunity to reaffirm that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security,” reads the letter, “Terrorists responsible for these killings should be held accountable in accordance with their obligations under international law and relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, should come forward to cooperate actively with all relevant authorities in this regard.”
