Gas Dealers Federation demand implementation of auto pricing system in LPG

KATHMANDU, March 19: Gas Dealers Federation of Nepal (GDFN) has urged newly-appointed Executive Director of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Umesh Thani to implement automatic pricing system in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

KATHMANDU, March 19: Gas Dealers Federation of Nepal (GDFN) has urged newly-appointed Executive Director of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Umesh Thani to implement automatic pricing system in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). 


GDFN President Gyaneshwor Aryal demanded the implementation of an automatic pricing system on cooking gas.  Stating that a problem could arise in the supply due to the non-implementation of an automatic pricing system, Aryal stressed the need to revise the price as per the changes seen in the international market.

On the occasion, Executive Director Thani said that the fuel should be sold at cost price. He also said that the NOC has been incurring a huge loss due to the rise in the price of crude oil in the international market. 


Thani expressed commitment to provide fuel to the consumers as per their requirements despite incurring a huge deficit.
