KATHMANDU, Dec 10: The full text of the Framework Agreement on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Cooperation between Nepal and China has been made public.
During his visit to China, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli signed the agreement and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) made the full text available on its website on Tuesday afternoon.

The day after US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, commented that he had not read the BRI cooperation framework document before returning to his country but expected it to be transparent, the Nepal government made the document public.
The framework includes objectives for Nepal-China cooperation through the BRI, areas of collaboration, priorities, economic cooperation issues and transport connectivity, among other points.
