KATHMANDU, Sept 8: A visiting French delegation led by Chairperson of France-Nepal Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group, Daniel Salmon, paid a courtesy call on Chairman of the National Assembly, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina.
Chairman Timilsina praised the contribution made by the Parliamentary Friendship Group to strengthen the Nepal-France friendship in the meeting held today at his office in Singh Darbar. During the meeting, he said that bilateral relations between Nepal and France have been excellent since the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Chairman Timilsina also said that there is a lot of potential for further cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, tourism and infrastructure. "Nepali Aircrafts are not able to fly in the European skies. I believe that an environment will be created for Nepali aircraft to fly in European skies," he said.
During the meeting, Chairman of the France-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group Salmon expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown in Nepal. He talked about the tourism practices of France to reduce the impact of climate change and said that France is ready to help Nepal in this regard.
