KATHMANDU, June 11: Nepal Freight Forwarders Association (NEFFA) has said that its attention has been drawn toward the Department of Transport Management's decision to bar movement of cargo vehicles in Kathmandu Valley from 8 am till 7 pm starting next week.

Issuing a statement on Monday, NEFFA said that the decision will affect movement of air cargo as the country's only international airport, Tribhuvan International Airport, is located in inner area of the valley and that the office time of the cargo terminal is between 10 am and 5 pm. It has demanded that the government to allow cargo vehicles carrying exportable goods to ply the valley roads as usual.
