Anita Baral, 12, tractor driver Lok Bahadur Arghali and staff Shankar Pandey were killed in the accident.
Meanwhile, a police personnel who was also traveling in the tractor made a narrow escape. Bhojraj Raskoti jumped from the tractor and saved his life.
The accident spot lies some 40 kilometers away from the district headquarters, Tansen.
