Four including three Indians arrested in connection with Sarlahi shooting incident

Rautahat, Oct 20: Sarlahi police have arrested four accused in connection with the shooting incident that took place in Bagmati area of Sarlahi district on Wednesday.

Rautahat, Oct 20: Sarlahi police have arrested four accused in connection with the shooting incident that took place in Bagmati area of Sarlahi district on Wednesday. 


The Head of Sagun Cooperative at Milan Chowk in Bagmati Municipality was arrested by Sarlahi police last night from the Nepal-India border area.

The police arrested four people including three Indians at 11 o'clock last night when they were trying to sneak across the Nepal-India border through Balra Municipality -3 in Lakshmipur.


As one of the accused tried to escape during the arrest, police even shot at one person named Dhirendra Sahani of Sekhauna in Sarlahi.He was shot at by police on his leg.


Sahani is being treated in Malangwa under police supervision. Police have arrested Gulshan Singh, 22, of Motihari, Saurabh Shah, 20, of Vaishali and Rehan Singh, 20, of Sheohar.


Sarlahi Police said that they will give official information about the incident today at 2 pm.
