Four including a minor killed in Chandragiri car accident

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Four persons died and two others got injured in a car accident that occurred at Panighat of Chandragiri municipality-4, Kathmandu this afternoon.

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: Four persons died and two others got injured in a car accident that occurred at Panighat of Chandragiri municipality-4, Kathmandu this afternoon.


Those killed in the accident were- Om Nidhi Tiwari, 76, and Kalpana Tiwari, 64, from Maitidevi and Dr Mahesh Kumar Gautam and four-year-old Priyance Gautam from Lazimpat, Kathmandu, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kumodh Dhungel.  All four died on the spot.

The vehicle heading to Chitlang from Kathmandu fell 500 meters off the road after it lost control, according to Officiating Spokesperson of Nepal Police Dan Bahadur Karki. 


The injured ones in the accident - Dr Sristi Tiwari and her six-year-old daughter Smarika– have been taken to Bayodha Hospital for treatment.
