Former Prime Minister Nepal arrives in London

LONDON, Nov 16: Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has arrived in London on Thursday evening.

LONDON, Nov 16: Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has arrived in London on Thursday evening.


Nepal's Ambassador to UK Durga Bahadur Subedi and representatives from London-based Nepali organizations welcomed the former prime minister and Nepali actors at the Heathrow Airport. The former prime minister will be taking part in a charity event being organized by the Yeti Nepali Association, the oldest organization of Nepali community in UK.

Leader Nepal is scheduled to address the charity event at Greenford Hall in London on Saturday, which is aimed at raising funds for Nepali children in remote areas. Nepal, who is also a senior leader of the ruling Nepal Communist Party, will join an interaction to be organized by Nepali Janapragatisheel Manch.


Comedian Manoj Gajurel, Model Mariska Pokharel and Singer Hemanta Moktan also reached UK on Thursday evening to perform in the same event.
