Former PM Khanal departs for China to attend Belt and Road Forum

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Former Prime Minister and leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Jhalnath Khanal, left for China on Sunday night to participate in the 3rd Belt and Road Forum (BRF) to be held in Beijing.

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Former Prime Minister and leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Jhalnath Khanal, left for China on Sunday night to participate in the 3rd Belt and Road Forum (BRF) to be held in Beijing.


According to the Central Foreign Department Secretary of CPN (United Socialist) Dr. Shankar Khatiwada, former Prime Minister Khanal is scheduled to address the third Belt and Road Forum, set to take place on October 18.

Additionally, Leader Khanal plans to hold meetings with leaders from the Chinese Communist Party and other leaders from various countries participating in the program while in China.


Accompanying him, Ravi Lakshmi Chitrakar and Prof. Dr. Yuvraj Sangraula have also made their way to China to partake in this significant international event.
