KATHMANDU, Mar 18: Leader of Nepali Congress and former Home Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka has been injured in a road accident occurred at Satthari of Surkhet district on Sunday.
Leader Khadka sustained injuries in his chest and legs while his bodyguard, Police Sub-Inspector Sanjib Acharya, sustained injuries on his head.

The ill-fated vehicle (Ba 15 Cha 8352) was en route to Chinchu from Birendranagar met with the accident, police informed.
Both injured are receiving medical treatment at Birendranagar-based Mid-Western Regional Hospital.
