This weather condition is attributed to the partial influence of western winds in Nepal, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
According to the MFD, the weather in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces remains generally clear, while other regions experience generally clear conditions with foggy atmospheres in most Terai locations. Later today, partial showers are expected in the hilly areas, with a possibility of light snowfall in select high hill and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
