FNJ to continue protests

KATHMANDU, June 18: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has vowed to continue protests until the government arrest Youth Force Morang chairman Parshuram Basnet, the mastermind behind the attack of Biratnagar-based Republica correspondent Khilanath Dhakal.



Speaking at a program in Maitighar on Saturday, FNJ chairman Shiva Gaule said that the organization will announce further protest programs after a meeting with concerned bodies on Sunday.[break]



Gaule asked civil society and citizens to show solidarity over their protest to prevent the repetition of such incidents in future.
