Acting President Bista sent a letter to the FNJ’s Central Election Committee on Thursday, requesting to postpone the upcoming election program for the time being. After receiving his letter, the election committee announced that the election program has been postponed indefinitely.

Likewise, voting to elect a new leadership of the FNJ was scheduled for September 28 with the candidacy registration fixed for September 20 (today). However, the election of the new leadership of the FNJ has become uncertain due to the controversy.
