KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Senior Vice-President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and president of IME Group Chandra Prasad Dhakal has suggested investing remittances in sectors that give long-term return.
Speaking at the event organized by IME to announce the lucky winners of the IME Double ko Double ko Double Offer, Dhakal said that a large chunk of money received in the form of remittances is spent on the consumption sector. He stressed on the need to invest in remittances in the long run.

Stating that IME is working in the field of corporate social responsibility rather than business profit alone, Dhakal also urged all to support the process of remittance through digital medium, which has already started in Nepal.
Also speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of IME Suman Pokharel said that IME has been developed as an institution working for the benefit of general public.
