Flights to and from Pokhara int’l airport postponed

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: After the accident of a Yeti Airlines plane this morning, all flights from the Pokhara Regional International Airport have been postponed. TIA Spokesperson Teknath Sitaula said that all flights from Pokhara Airport have been postponed after the accident.

There were four crew members and 68 passengers on the plane that crashed this morning. The plane was being flown by senior captains Kamal KC and Anju Khatiwada. According to the BBC News Nepali, the passengers who were on board include 53 Nepali nationals, five Indian nationals, four Russian nationals, two Korean nationals, and one nationals each from Irelands, Australia, Argentina and France.
