Five monuments to be retrofitted

KATHMANDU, Nov 18: Five monuments carrying historical and archeological importance, damaged by Gorkha earthquake, would be retrofitted. 



The buildings of Singha Durbar, Division of Roads, Office of the Auditor General, Babarmahal, Kesharmahal (Keshar Library), Naxal-based Bal Mandir and Jamal-based Law Library could be retrofitted, according to the Central Project Implementation Unit (Building). 



Project Director of the Unit, Nabaraj Pyakurel, said that works related to design of the four buildings were underway. However, retrofitting task of the north, south and east part of Singha Durbar building has already been started. RSS
