First meeting to approve interim rules of procedures

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The first meeting of the Federal Parliament is to endorse interim rules of procedures to be applicable until the parliament rules of procedures are introduced.

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The first meeting of the Federal Parliament is to endorse interim rules of procedures to be applicable until the parliament rules of procedures are introduced. 


Based on an agreement with representatives of the political parties represented in the federal parliament reached at a meeting hosted by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the interim rules will be endorsed by the first joint meeting of the both houses, according to Secretariat Spokesperson Dr Bharat Raj Gautam.

Accordingly, the Secretariat has provided a draft of the interim rules of procedures to the party representatives and it will be finalized at an all-party meeting to be held on March 4. 

The maiden meeting of the federal parliament is taking place at 4:00 pm on March 5.
