Talking at a program organized by Press Chautari, Pokharel claimed that the election was rescheduled in Province 2 in line with the grand design orchestrated by senior Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi since his party was afraid of losing the local level elections in Province 2.

“Nepali Congress used Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal(RJPN) for its self-interest in the name of addressing the demand of RJPN by deferring the pre-determined polls. It will be counterproductive to Nepal Congress”, said Pokharel.
