The delegation also requested Balayar for amendment to Construction Business Act 2055 and Construction Business Regulation 2056 as per the changed context. It also asked the minister to direct the Public Procurement Monitoring Office and other concerned agencies to ensure that Nepali contractors also participate in bidding of mega projects.

It also requested Balayar to direct concerned government bodies not to combine small packages into large contract, saying that such practice has barred small contractors from participating in the bidding process. The delegation also requested to government to review rules for issuing license for contractors, and renew license of 'D' class contractors.

Responding to the delegation, Minister Balayar expressed commitment to address their demands.
