According to the police, the girl´s father Rama Thakur has been arrested on suspicion of his involvement in her murder.[break]
“We have arrested the girl´s father for investigation as we suspected the family´s involvement in the murder,” said Police Inspector Ramnath Ghimire. “Family members came under suspicion after we found that they were against Bindu´s relationship with a boy,” Ghimire added.
As per the information given to the police by the locals, some days ago Bindu was warned by her father against continuing her alleged relationship with the boy. “Bindu, who was said to have gone for tuition classes in the morning, had neither worn any warm clothes nor was she carrying any books,” added inspector Ghimire.
According to the police, the investigation so far indicates involvement of her family members in the murder. Police said it was a cold blooded murder. The District Police Office has formed a probe committee led by inspector Ghimire to investigate the murder. Bindu´s charred body was found in a field 100 meters away from her house in Prakosta of Bara district.
