The call of the envoys of Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, United States and the European Union Delegation to the parties came on Thursday at a time when the major parties are struggling to arrive at consensus on concluding the peace process and drafting a new constitution.
Earlier on Thursday morning, European envoys met Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to discuss current political situation and encouraged him to arrive at consensus. They told Dahal that they want to see some progress in the management of Maoist weapons.
