Promoters of the company Sanjib Tuladhar, Devendra Shrestha, Rajiv Shrestha, Prakash Kansakar and Sunil Maharjan jointly inaugurated the new outlet. [break]According to them, the store offers a complete solution for popular sports like football, swimming, running, basketball and tennis among others.
The showroom spread over 1,000 sq ft offers wide range of products like jackets, T-shirts, hats, shoes, tracksuits, and swimming costumes for both men and women. Besides, Adidas footballs and basketballs are also available at the store.
“The store is basically targeted at athletes and people who are engaged in different sport activities,” said Tuladhar, one of the promoters of the company. He added that the store will be providing all types of sports accessories and costumes depending on the need of the customers.
Adidas shoes are available in the prince range of Rs 2,000 to Rs 9,000. Similarly, tracksuits are priced between Rs 4,000 and Rs 6,000, while T-shirts are available in range of Rs 1,500 to Rs 4,000. Other accessories are available in the price range of Rs 600 to Rs 9,000.
Meanwhile, Roots Fashion has announced special discounts on selected shoes and T-shirts in all its eight outlets. It is offering up to 60 percent discount on shoes and 30 percent discount on T-shirts. “To mark the opening ceremony, we are also providing 10 percent discount on all items at our new outlet. The offer will be valid for a month,” Maharjan said.
Roots Fashion opened first Adidas outlet at Putalisadak in 2001. It has outlets in Durbar Marg, Kumaripati, Tripureshwar, New Road, City Center and Pokhara.
“We are planning to open a new outlet in Bouddha within two months,” informed Tuladhar.
Besides Adidas, Roots Fashion also deals on other brands like Dr Martens, Kickers, Levi´s, Oakley, Pepe Jeans and Quiksilver.
