Eight Nepalis deported from US for illegal entry

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Eight Nepalis who entered the United States of America illegally have been deported back to Nepal.

According to Gogan Bahadur Hamal, the Chief Immigration Officer of the Immigration Department, those who reached the USA through unauthorized routes returned on Wednesday, landing at Tribhuvan International Airport around 3:30 PM.

After being apprehended for illegal entry, the eight Nepalis were kept under control by the USA and repatriated to Nepal via a chartered flight.
