KATHMANDU, Oct 17: Educationist Bhola Prasad Dahal has passed away in the United States of America on Monday. He was 51.
Also the national director of Search for Common Ground, an NGO, Dahal had gone to the U.S. to participate in a programme.

According to family sources, Dahal passed away while sleeping in his hotel room. A Ph.D. in education from Tribhuvan University, he had been advocating for a socialist perspective and good governance in education. Dahal also used to teach in the U.S.A.
The cause of the death is being investigated in the U.S., Tribhuvan University Faculty of Education Dean Dr. Maheshnath Parajuli, who had gone to meet Dahal’s family here on Tuesday, quoted the family sources as saying.
Born in Sanghutar of Ramechhap district, Dahal had also worked as the good governance advisor at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Nepal, as programme coordinator at the Embassy of Finland in Nepal, as programme director at the Save the Children and as programme coordinator with the Nepal Red Cross Society.
It is suspected that Dahal might have died from heart attack as he was found dead in sleep and bleeding from the nose. The body would be brought to Nepal for cremation after examination by doctors. He is survived by his wife and three sons. RSS
