KATHMANDU, March 7: Samajbadi Party Nepal (SPN) chair and former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has stressed on economic revolution as pressing necessity of the country.
In his address to the first declaration assembly of Nepal Federation of Commerce, Industry and Enterprises in the capital on Saturday, he noted reaching financial capital to the access of small and medium scale entrepreneurs would enable an appropriate environment for country's development.

"Socialism would not take place without developing capitalism. It is imperative to spur investment in productive sectors so as to develop society", he added. The incumbent government is moving on a snail pace, he said, accusing the government of wasting its first two years ignoring economic development.
SPN co-chair Rajendra Shrestha called for best utilizing the natural resources for the development of the country as it has high potentials to that end.
Federation chair Kamala Gurung said the government should create an environment to provide employment to youths in the country.
