KATHMANDU, May 2: The Election Commission (EC) has submitted a report with the results of the by-elections held on April 27 to President Ram Chandra Paudel.
Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya presented the report at a program held at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas, on Thursday. On April 27, by-elections were held for a member of the House of Representatives from Ilam-2 and a member of the provincial assembly from Bajhang Provincial Assembly 'A'.

President Paudel, while receiving the report, expressed his gratitude for the role played by the EC in fulfilling the responsibilities given to it by the Constitution of Nepal and the prevailing election laws.
