Non-resident Nepali citizens who previously held Nepali citizenship must submit proof of renunciation when seeking Nepali citizenship again. The EC has instructed the MoHA to provide this information to the district election offices by October 21.
The EC plans to remove the names of those who have relinquished their citizenship from the voters’ list, ensuring the updated voter records reflect accurate data.
