KATHMANDU, Aug 4: An earthquake measuring 4.2 in the Richter scale jolted Taplejung on Sunday afternoon with its epicenter at Ankhop.
The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur confirmed the tremor that occurred at 4:04 PM Sunday.

Earlier, a tremor of 4.1 in the Richter scale had occurred with its epicenter near Khejenim of the same district on July 28.
