DPM Koirala in Geneva

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sujata Koirala arrived in Geneva of Switzerland to participate in the 13th session of the Human Rights Council, here on Sunday.



The session is scheduled from March 1-3.



Deputy Prime Minister Koirala is scheduled to address the High Level Segment of the Human Rights Council on March 1.



Koirala will hold bilateral talks with her Swiss counterpart, Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Micheline Calmy-Rey in Berne on March 3, the Permanent Mission of Nepal to UN said in a press release on Sunday.



Upon arrival in Geneva, DPM Koirala was received by Nepal´s Permanent Representative to UN, Dr Dinesh Bhattarai and other officials.
