KATHMANDU, Jan 5: The auction of cricketers for the 3rd edition of Dhangadi Premier League (DPL) is taking place today.
The auction is taking place for the 205 cricketers who registered themselves for the Twenty20 cricket tournament, according to the Dhangadi Cricket Academy Chair Subash Shahi.

The cricketers have registered themselves with a base price of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 250,000. Six teams will be buying them based on a bidding.
Those bought today will remain in contract for three years with the respective club. Every team is allowed to contract 15 cricketers including two foreign athletes.
