KATHMANDU, Aug 1: The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has announced that the issues with the electronic driving license system have been resolved. The system experienced problems over the past few days, but the technical team worked late into the night to fix the issue, the DoTM said.
Ishwari Datta Paneru, information officer at the DoTM, confirmed that the electronic driving license (eDL) system is now functioning normally. The department is also addressing issues with the Electronic Vehicle Registration System (EVRS).

The DoTM's server faced disruptions recently, but the system is back online. The electronic license processes, including both online systems and printing, are managed by Madras Security Printers of India. The DoTM cited incomplete systems and delays in maintenance and updates as causes of the recent problems.
