KATHMANDU, Aug 20: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara returned home on Saturday wrapping up his five-day official visit to China.
Briefly talking to journalists upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Mahara said the visit was successful.

He added that Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang are positive about visiting Nepal.
DPM Mahara said that an understating was reached to keep the foreign ministries of both the countries at standby for visit by Chinese President Xi.
Mahara had gone to China as a special envoy of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and to hand over an invitation letter of Bidya Devi Bhandari to her counterpart Xi Jinping.
While in Beijing, Mahara met with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Foreign Minister, among others.
