DHANGADHI, March 23: The Nepali Congress has witnessed disputes on distribution of the membership to its active cadres in Kailali district.

District Secretary Prakash Bam said the District Vice-Chairman of the party Lok Bahadur Mahato was expelled from the post, reasoning he was proved to have distributed membership form randomly.

The meeting of the district committee presided over by its chairman Narnarayan Shah decided to sack vice-chairman Mahato for the reason that he distributed forms claiming himself an acting chairman.

However, Mahat has been saying that the party expelled him without establishing any ground.

It is not good on the part of the Nepali Congress to have such disputes at a time the party is holding its general convention.

The number of people taking NC membership in the district has sharply upped in the district. RSS
